Description

All-volatile, liquid, catalyzed DREWPLEX OX corrosion inhibitor is intended for use in low-, medium-, and high-pressure steam-producing systems. By using DEHA as an oxygen scavenger, the corrosion inhibitor DREWPLEX OX prevents ferrous and non-ferrous corrosion in feedwater, boilers, steam, and condensate lines.

In addition to scavenging oxygen, the corrosion inhibitor DREWPLEX OX passivates metal surfaces by forming shielding oxide coatings, which reduces the amount of iron and copper deposits in the boiler. DREWPLEX OX corrosion inhibitor, a water treatment product used in boiler steam lines for nonfood contact in food processing companies, is NSF recognized as a nonfood compound under category G7.

For low-pressure steam generating systems (0-32 bar) and routine treatment for medium-pressure steam propulsion vessels, DREWPLEX OX corrosion inhibitor can be utilized (32-60 bar). The amount of dissolved oxygen in the feedwater will determine the DREWPLEX OX corrosion inhibitor’s continuous dosage.

There will be more dissolved oxygen present the colder the feedwater is. When there is feedwater recirculation in low-pressure steam-producing systems, continually administer DREWPLEX OX corrosion inhibitor after the feedwater recirculation offtake.
