Description

The NALFLEET Engine Water Treatment 9-108 is a well-balanced combination of corrosion inhibitors that was created to provide a high nitrite furnish, which is increasingly necessary for the next generation of high-efficiency diesel engines.

Use the Motor Ship Test Kit 777066 to monitor the nitrite, chloride, and p-alkalinity of your engine cooling water.

It works well in both hot and cold water, and when combined with antifreeze, NALFLEET Engine Water Treatment 9-108 is compatible with glycol. To reduce the growth of scale on heat transmission surfaces, it has an antiscalant. All metals, such as cast iron, mild steel, copper, copper alloys, lead, and solder that are frequently found in engine cooling water systems will be protected.

The system should be flushed to get rid of any sludge and particle matter before treatment starts, and where necessary, cleaned with an oil remover to get rid of oil and grease deposits. Direct dosing of NALFLEET Engine Water Treatment 9-108 into the cooling system is recommended.
