Unitor Metal Brite, a liquid detergent formula contains rust-eliminating acids, emulsifiers, and passivation. which are non-ionic surfactants and phosphoric acids used to remove rust and brighten surfaces.

Always use a plastic bucket with Metal Brite. Water should never be added before acid, and vice versa. A non-flammable rust and metal tarnish remover are Unitor Metal Brite HD. It is incredibly cost-effective to use and highly concentrated. When used to clean cargo holds and exterior surfaces aboard ships, this composition satisfies the requirements set forth in MARPOL Annex V for not being hazardous to the marine environment. It is also approved for use as a cleanser for tanks that come into touch with cooking oil by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
