Unitor Brine Corrosion Inhibitor

Description

NALFLEET Brine Corrosion Inhibitor is a borate-organic corrosion inhibitor which is specifically made for use in closed, recirculating cooling systems that use chloride brine.

Steel and the majority of other metals are effectively protected from corrosion by brine corrosion inhibitors, which are designed to work well in low- and high-temperature environments. It doesn’t precipitate when utilized in chromate-containing systems.

17.5 litres of NALFLEET Brine Corrosion Inhibitor are advised for every tonne of brine in the system. The NALFLEET Brine Corrosion Inhibitor may be injected straight into the system, pure or diluted with water.

It is best to use evaporated water for dilutions. Pump and lines should be made of mild steel, stainless steel, Teflon, polyethylene, PVC, polypropylene, or rubber if a chemical dosing pump is utilized.

Chromate and NALFLEET Brine corrosion inhibitor are compatible. Chromate systems don’t need to be flushed before the product is added. Let the chromate naturally decline while keeping the boron level at a minimum of 70 ppm. It is best to feed the NALFLEET Brine Corrosion Inhibitor gently.
