Portable water Stabilizer

Description

Potable Water Stabilizer is a powdered form of concentrated, extremely soluble polyphosphate. Scale and corrosion are efficiently and affordably controlled in shipboard once-through water systems and potable water systems by Potable Water Stabilizer.

The dosage ranges from 4 to 8 mg/ltr for routine water treatment. The dosage for drinking water should never be higher than 9 mg/ltr (9 g/m3). It is not advised to dose the powder product straight into the water system. Before administering, a water solution should be produced.

Adequate circulation must be ensured if the expansion tank is employed. It is preferable to portion the solution using a simple bypass feeder or a dosing system for water treatment to maintain the proper dosage.

The substance may be injected directly into the suction manifold of the freshwater pumps or indirectly into the discharge line of the freshwater generator. When using a large amount of shore water, the solution must be “slug” dosed into the tanks before water is added. Stronger solutions of up to 20% can be created for larger systems.
