Interzinc 52

Description

Interzinc 52 is a two-component, metallic zinc-rich epoxy primer that satisfies SSPC Paint 20’s makeup and performance standards.

In any anti-corrosive coating system for aggressive environments, such as those found on offshore structures, petrochemical sites, pulp and paper plants, bridges, and power plants, as a high-performance primer to provide the greatest level of protection. Excellent corrosion resistance is provided by Interzinc 52 in both maintenance and new construction circumstances.

All areas that are going to be coated need to be contamination-free, dry, and clean. All surfaces should be evaluated and prepared in line with ISO 8504:2000 prior to painting.

In line with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning, any oil or grease should be eliminated.

The material is provided in two packages together. Always combine an entire container according to the instructions. The unit must be used within the working pot life stated once it has been mixed.

• Use an electric agitator to stir the Base (Part A).
• Use the power agitator to fully combine the Curing Agent (Part B) and Base (Part A) mixtures.

Interzinc 52 is made to be applied to properly prepped steel. However, it is also feasible to use too many prefabrication primers that have been approved. Contact International Protective Paints for more information on these.
