Puncture-resistant safety boot is a type of footwear designed to protect the wearer’s feet from puncture wounds caused by sharp objects such as nails, screws, and metal shards.
The process control equipment and devices are used in everyday industrial activities. The purpose of such devices is to measure, evaluate and control a process. These systems provide information that is required by the operators to make adjustments on the field and monitor the quality, speed, performance and stability of the process. They are also used for scheduling tasks and regulating conditions of production.Read More
Engineers use these various types of instrumentation to monitor and maintain process control equipment for improved output, product standard and quality control, and workplace safety in manufacturing and processing facilities.
There are numerous industries that use process control equipment and devices, including:
Oil and gas
Mining
Food and beverage
Marine
Semiconductor manufacturing
Water/Waste-Water, etc.
There are different types of these devices like pressure gauges, flow meters, transmitters etc. and they differ in terms of their purpose. Like to measure, transmit and control process variables like flow, level, pressure, temperature and analyzed components like concentration or humidity.
The most common type of these devices is a thermometer which measures temperature but there are many others too including steam traps which regulate temperature by letting out excess heat energy from steam pipes before it reaches its destination so as not to damage any parts along its path through pipes. Others are;
Strainers: Strainers work similarly to filters but are targeted at removing larger particles from a process stream – anything around 100 microns or larger.
Sensor: A sensor will also detect, measure and transmit variables such as pressure, temperature, level or flow.
Pipework: To connect the transmitter to the process.
A mounting bracket: To mount a transmitter locally to pipework.
Cabling: Electrical cabling from the transmitter to field junction box or control room junction box.
Field junction box: Depending on type of cabling used.
Transmitter: The transmitter takes in a measurement, such as pressure or flow, and converts it into an electrical signal from which the operator can read.
Controller: A controller is the element of a control loop that keeps the process variable close to its desired set point.
Actuators: This equipment changes the process variable by physically changing some other variable in the process. Actuators are usually implemented by pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic cylinders, motors, etc.
Control valve: The control valve is the final control element in the control loop. The control valve typically consists of one or more ports, a main flow passage, and a plug, disk, or other device that can be inserted into the main flow passage to start or stop (or modulate) flow.
We have the right process control equipment and devices for practically any industry and application. Our equipment and devices are high quality and are cost-effective, manufactured by top brands in the world. Visit our catalogue to choose your desired options.
