Description

For the protection of recirculating cooling and heating water systems, LIQUIDEWT cooling water treatment is a liquid, multi-functional corrosion inhibitor with a nitrite basis. The LIQUIDEWT treatment is a great one for the primary and secondary cooling water of diesel engines. Additionally, it creates a clear, non-staining solution that guards against corrosion and hard water scale, making it perfect for use in chilled water systems. In maritime circulating cooling water systems, LIQUIDEWT treatment is a powerful corrosion inhibitor for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

When freeze protection is required, the right quantity of glycol-based antifreeze should be applied, along with good quality fresh or distilled water. Start the system water’s circulation, then add 8 liters of LIQUIDEWT cooling water treatment per ton of system water capacity. If the total hardness levels are less than 170 ppm or as otherwise advised by the engine manufacturer, whichever is less, LIQUIDEWT cooling water treatment may also be employed with waters that have hardness contamination.
