Intergard 475

Description

Intergard 475HS a two-component, low VOC, high solids, and high build epoxy finish. Available with standard coloring or with micaceous iron oxide to improve the overcoating qualities. Intergard 475HS can be used in a variety of environments, such as offshore structures, petrochemical facilities, pulp and paper factories, and bridges, for use as a high-build epoxy coating to enhance barrier protection for a variety of anti-corrosive coating systems.

Intergard 475HS can be used as a component of an anti-corrosive coating system in both maintenance and new building circumstances. Intergard 475HS, the micaceous iron oxide variant enhances the long-term overcoating characteristics, making it easier to apply in the fabrication factory before shipping and complete the overcoating on site.

All areas that are going to be coated need to be contamination-free, dry, and clean. The Intergard 475HS coating is intended to be applied to properly prepared steel. All surfaces should be evaluated and prepared in line with ISO 8504:2000 prior to painting.

The main purpose of Intergard 475HS is to provide high-build barrier security to a coating system. When appearance is crucial, it is advised to be overcoated with a sturdy finish from the Interfine or Interthane line.

The material is provided in two packages together. Always combine an entire container according to the instructions. The unit must be used within the working pot life stated once it has been mixed.

• Use an electric agitator to stir the Base (Part A).
• Use the power agitator to fully combine the Curing Agent (Part B) and Base (Part A) mixtures.
