Description

JOTAMASTIC 70 is a fast-curing epoxy mastic primer with surface tolerance. The Jotamastic brand is Jotun’s largest brand for surface-tolerant maintenance coatings and has been on the market for more than 30 years. Jotamastic 70 can be used as a primer or a midcoat and gives you long-lasting protection in atmospheric environments.

It is specially designed for areas where optimal surface preparation is not possible or desired and is ideally suited for maintenance and repair. It also possesses an excellent film formation on pitting rust and aged coatings and provides a durable maintenance solution for a wide range of assets. The short overcoating intervals and the robustness of the formulation gives you efficient and safe application, making it user friendly.

SURFACE PREPARATION

To secure lasting adhesion to the subsequent product all surfaces shall be clean, dry and free from any contamination.

APPLICATION METHODS

The product can be applied by

Spray: Use airless spray.

Brush: May be used. Care must be taken to achieve the specified dry film thickness.

Roller: May be used. However when using roller application care must be taken to apply sufficient material in order to achieve the specified dry film thickness.

STORAGE

The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations. Keep the containers in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away from sources of heat and ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed. Handle with care.
